How to Make Matcha at Home (Without the Ceremony Police)
Bowl, whisk, sieve, water that isn't boiling — the five-minute version and the full ritual. Both count.
You do not need a tea room. You need a bowl (or a wide mug), a whisk or frother, a fine sieve, and water that isn't boiling.
Five-minute version: Sift 1–2g matcha. Add a splash of ~70–80°C water. Whisk (or froth) until foam. Top up. Drink.
Full ritual: Same ingredients, slower hands. Sift carefully. Whisk in a loose W until the surface is even foam. Sit with it for a minute before the day starts asking for you.
